Little Solsbury Hill offers breath-taking views over Bath and the surrounding countryside. When you reach the top you can easily see why it is the old site of a fort, with its commanding position. This is the hill Peter Gabriel sang of in his song of the same name. Hill forts developed in the Bronze and Early Iron Age – and Solsbury Hill is a classic example of this feature.
